App alerts, receipts, login mail. One mailbox per plan. From addresses are @smtp.calis.host only — you do not bring a domain in v1. Caps are monthly message counts, not unlimited. After the invoice is paid, the mailbox and SMTP credentials appear on the service page in billing.

Is this for newsletters or purchased lists?

No. Transactional mail only: app alerts, receipts, logins. Not newsletter blasts, not purchased recipients, not phishing. See the acceptable use policy.

Can I send from my own domain?

Not in v1. From addresses are the issued mailbox on @smtp.calis.host. Customers do not bring a domain. Spoofing other domains is forbidden.

What host and login do I use?

SMTP host mta.calis.exchange, port 465 SSL. Username is the full mailbox address. Password is on the service page after the invoice is paid.

Are the IPs dedicated?

No. Shared Calis IPs on the Amsterdam Vultr ESP. Reputation is shared. Hitting the monthly cap or breaking AUP disables SMTP AUTH for that mailbox.

Is SMTP instant like a self-serve ESP?

The mailbox is provisioned after a paid invoice — not while the invoice is open. Linux, Windows, and Desktop VPS provision is still not live. Crypto checkout keys may still be pending; order anyway at my.calis.host.

What happens if I go over the monthly cap?

SMTP AUTH is disabled until the next cycle or you upgrade. Caps are hard monthly message counts, not “fair use unlimited.”
